Right of Use

The service is intended for private consumers residing in Finland.

Companies can also use the Service. The right of return under consumer protection law does not apply to business customers. In the sales agreement formed between business customers and the Service Provider, the Finnish Sale of Goods Act applies unless otherwise specified.

Ordering

A binding sales agreement is concluded when the Service Provider sends the user an order confirmation confirming product availability and delivery time. The Service Provider reserves the right not to accept an order.

The User is responsible for all orders made with their user ID and password. The User is responsible for keeping their user ID and password confidential.

Product Prices

The product price is the price visible alongside the product information on the Service's site at the time of ordering. The Service Provider reserves the right to change prices without prior notice. Campaign product prices are valid only during the campaign period, or as long as stocks last, unless otherwise mentioned. Package offer prices do not apply if any of the package components are removed. Written offers are valid according to the given commitment. Freight, tax, and other similar costs are added to the product prices unless otherwise mentioned.

Price Errors

The Service Provider reserves the right to cancel an order in the event of obvious pricing errors. A clear pricing error means a possible pricing error for a product in the online store, where the product's price differs significantly and clearly from the correct price of the product.

Deliveries

Orders are processed immediately if the products are in stock. Estimated delivery times for ordered products are based on supplier notifications and are indicative. A reasonable delivery delay does not entitle the cancellation of the order.

The Service Provider is not responsible for delays caused by force majeure or for any indirect harms caused by the delayed delivery to the user.

The Service Provider delivers the sold products under a third-party transportation agreement. The Service Provider reserves the right to deliver ordered products in installments.

Payment Terms

In stores, accepted payment methods include cash and generally accepted bank and credit cards in Finland. In the C&C online store, payment methods are offered in cooperation with Klarna. Check the currently valid payment methods in the Service's payment methods section. https://www.klarna.com/fi/ehdot/

Corporate and educational customers can also pay by invoice, provided that a positive credit decision is obtained. The Service Provider reserves the right to require advance payment either in full or in part to secure the delivery. For invoices paid after the due date, the Service Provider is entitled to charge interest in accordance with Section 4 §1 of the applicable Interest Act.

Installations

The pre-installation of accessories and programs, user guidance, and other similar services are not included in the product price unless specifically mentioned in the product description. The Service Provider has separate service products for the aforementioned services.

Warranty

The warranty is determined according to the manufacturer's warranty terms. Please read the manufacturer's warranty terms carefully, which you received with the device. A product defect will primarily be corrected by rectifying the defect either by repairing it in accordance with the manufacturer's warranty instructions and practices. If maintenance cannot be performed, the product will be replaced with a product of similar features. The replacement or repair of a product under warranty does not extend the original warranty period of the product.

The customer must report a detected defect within a reasonable time when they discovered the defect or should have discovered it. Warranty repairs are carried out at the Service Provider's service or alternatively at a service designated by the Service Provider. The customer is responsible for the transport costs of the warranty service. However, consumer customers have the right to deliver the product to warranty service free of charge, as directed by the Service Provider.

Complaints

The customer is obliged to inspect the products upon their arrival. If any defects or damages are found in the products, the customer must complain about the issue in writing immediately, but no later than 8 days after the products have arrived. A free-form complaint can be submitted by email to asiakaspalvelu@cec.com or by filling out the contact form on the website. The customer is obliged to inspect the products, even if they are not used immediately or are packaged for storage. If no complaint is made, the delivery is considered accepted. The warranty or liability for defects does not cover damages caused by improper use of the product or negligence of instructions.

The Service Provider is not responsible for loss of income resulting from the products sold. The liability is limited to a maximum of the product's price. If a purchased product is no longer available (e.g., due to the end of production), the paid purchase amount will be refunded to the customer.

Right to Exchange and Return

Consumer customers of the Service have a 14-day right to exchange and return, in accordance with the Finnish Consumer Protection Act. The returned product must be unused, saleable, and in the original packaging.

Restrictions on the right of return under Chapter 6 Section 16 of the Consumer Protection Act:

• Games, movies, software, or other sealed products do not have a return right once the product packaging has been opened.

• Products delivered sealed that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons.

• The right of return for services does not apply to electronic services that have already been started, products made or modified according to your order.

Products purchased from a store only have a right of return if separately agreed. The right to return under the Consumer Protection Act does not apply to business customers. If products are not returned in their original packaging and saleable condition, the Service Provider is entitled to charge the costs required to restore the product to saleable condition.

Dispute Resolution and Jurisdiction

The consumer customer has the right to submit any disputes arising from this agreement to the Consumer Disputes Board for resolution. All disputes related to this agreement that cannot be resolved through negotiation are resolved in the Helsinki District Court.
